Launching

AYC can launch your boats for you and recover them when you’d like them to come out of the water.

To book a launch of your boat, please email clubmanager@aldeburghyc.org.uk.

Please let us know the details of the boat and the date you’d like us to launch it, and we can pass the request over to our boatmen. If you would like us to step the mast, also let us know.

Please note that we will try to launch on the date you provide but we cannot guarantee the exact date you request as it needs to fit around the boatmen’s work schedule, the tides and the weather.

If you have a date that you would like us to recover the boat, please let us know when you book. (You do not need to provide this when you book your launch; this can be requested at a later date).

We have a launch package which includes the launch of your boat and recovery. We will also give the boat an exit scrub when it comes out of the water.

Once your boat has been launched, you will be invoiced.
