Parking and Storage

AYC offers dinghy parking, sail storage and outboard motor storage.

Spaces are allocated for you by the office. Please email office@aldeburghyc.org.uk if you need a space in the dinghy park or a slot in the sail and outboard containers.

Once your space has been allocated, you will receive an invoice with your space and slot numbers on. Please note you will need to make payment before using your allocated space/slot. If you’ve put your boat in the space without making payment, we reserve the right to move it.

Once payment has been made, please pick up your sticker from the office and put it on your boat so it’s easily visible to us so we can ensure the space has been paid for.

Stickers for the sail storage and outboard motor storage containers will be put on the allocated slot for you. If you’re purchasing a slot for the outboard motor storage, we will also provide you with a second sticker to put on your motor which will match the sticker on your slot.

Your spaces/slots carry over each year. You will receive an invoice in March to renew your dinghy parking, sail storage and outboard motor storage. If there are any changes to what you have had the previous year, please let us know when you receive your invoice.

We have dry storage at Brick Dock in Aldeburgh. If you would like to store your boat in the Brick Dock shed, please email office@aldeburghyc.org.uk and we can arrange for the boat to be taken there for storage in the Summer or Winter.

There will be an additional towing fee if Aldeburgh Yacht Club takes your boat to Brick Dock from AYC. If you would like to take the boat there yourself, please let us know when you book and we can give instructions.

Once the boat is in storage, you will be invoiced.

If you’d like to use the slipway to launch your boat, please email office@aldeburghy.org.uk for a slipway use permit. We will allocate you a permit sticker and send you an invoice. Alternatively, if it’s on the day then visit the office to make payment and collect a sticker. We offer one-off slipway use permits or annual (as many times in the year as you’d like).

Storage in the car park is available at AYC. If you’d like to store your boat in the car park, please email clubmanager@aldeburghyc.org.uk.
