AYC has a great Bar, a clubhouse with the finest views in Suffolk, a great Galley and wide-ranging programme of events to ensure there is something that appeals to all ages. This ranges from Wednesday evening suppers and Sunday Roasts to fine dining for special occasions, along with a well-stocked Bar.
We are lucky to have some fantastic caterers who have been with the Club since 2017. Rebecca Mackenzie and Stephen David are the husband-and-wife partnership that make up Mackenzie-David Events. Their experience brings the best of Suffolk to AYC.

Don’t forget AYC if you have any big family celebrations – weddings, christenings, big birthdays – the club house can accommodate 80 for a sit-down dinner in the club house and space to have a great party and the Chart Room for dinner party for 14.
Mackenzie-David has a host of different menu options to make your celebration stand out, and a great team to make the event go smoothly.

AYC Book Club
The idea is to have a nautical theme to the book choices. If you would like to join in, please email Ged Purves – tokopurves@hotmail.co.uk.
Wednesday Evening Suppers
Wednesday racing and suppers will begin again in 2027.
The suppers are on every Wednesday 19:00 – 20:30 after racing.
Please book in advance via galley@aldeburghyc.org.uk. Please let them know of any dietary requirements.

Thursday Charity Coffee Mornings
The coffee mornings will run every Thursday at 10:30.
A small donation is asked for to go towards the coffee and biscuits and any remaining funds are donated to AYC Schools Sailing Trust, BIGKID Foundation and the Woolverstone Project.
Everyone is welcome.

Winter Bridge Club
AYC Bridge is on the first Thursday morning of each month.

Galley on Saturdays
The Galley is open every Saturday until the end of October.
There will be a selection of sandwiches and hot lunches. For opening times, please click HERE.
Come down to the Club on Saturdays to watch or take part in Saturday racing.

Sunday lunches are on every week until 6th December.
